Maxim Mamsikov

Maxim Mamsikov is known for his hyperrealistic paintings. He was a member of the Kyiv art squat "Park Commune." He was a resident at the Academy of Arts in Munich and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Ukraine and internationally, including in Norway, Greece, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the USA, since 1995. His art often explores themes of perspective distortion, fragmentation, and hyperrealism, blending realism with elements of geometric abstraction. Mamsikov's works are characterized by their spatial conciseness and a palette of contrasting tones. His works participate in international auctions, with a highlight being his "Sea Battle," which sold for $35,000 at a Phillips de Pury & Company auction in 2009.
