Oleh Tistol
Oleh Tistol, a prominent figure of the Ukrainian New Wave, was born and raised during Soviet times and professionally matured in an independent Ukraine. Oleh Tistol was the first artist to represent Ukraine internationally following the country's independence. He has received international recognition and acclaim for his contributions to the art world. His work examines national self-identification and explores stereotypes. Among his international exhibitions, Tistol has participated twice in exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, where one of his significant pieces was acquired for the museum's collection. He has also participated in the Venice Biennale and the São Paulo Biennial, with his artworks held in numerous esteemed public and museum collections. His works are featured in the catalogs of prominent global auctions and have been sold at auction over 50 times. At the fair, both his latest works created during the ongoing war and iconic pieces from previous years are showcased.
